Tips on family/kid portraits outdoor photography?

Posted on August 06, 2010 by Ed

Was hoping someone could leave some tips / links about family portraits done out side.
it will mainly be with the kids 2 boys 7 and 4 years old and one baby 6 months
the mom and maybe the dad.
This is for her family. I normally take photos of landscapes not people.
so any tips will be helpful!
Thanks in advance.

watch for the metering… use reflectors and fill-in flash if you can… to stop unnecessary noise in the shots…

go with some set shots and some candids… near/on a play ground…
