   Another resource would be the local wedding directories and local wedding show websites.

   try the knot.com, free to join and use.
   Put a posting in your local area- I found my photographer there and they were amazing! Other brides are you best critic.

   I’m in California, and I recommend three Bay Area photographers who travel and do amazing work:

   If you want a photographer who is still learning, e.g., if you plan on having a real wedding in a few years and can afford bad pictures of this one, Craigs List is a good start. But, no good professionals advertise on crags list.

   I don’t know anyone there personally, but I do know of several photographers, myself included, who would be willing to travel there and photograph your wedding.
